The Cards
Same card stock, size, and finish as previous editions.
Embracing the standard edition's quilt-like background patterns, you'll find newly selected patterns in various beige tones. The colorful shapes are now removed; however, the collage artwork remains the same. Each keyword is backed by a lightly colored box. And lastly, there's an updated card back!
The Guidebook
Same booklet style, size, and finish as previous editions.
You'll find an updated guidebook featuring a new cover and interior page design that visually plays with a field notes theme. The writing has been freshly edited and slightly reworked with the same ideas and points as previous editions. Each keyword now has a dictionary-style definition included per card entry.
The Box
Same box style, size, and finish as previous editions.
A toned-down design to the box still references the standard edition's layout. The shapes, creatures, and plants are removed and now replaced with black & white trinkets you'll find on all aspects of the deck.
